Email Account Password and Server Settings - Samsung Galaxy Note® Pro

To configure personal email server settings (e.g., password, Exchange server, etc.), follow these steps.

  1. From a Home screen, navigate: Apps icon Apps icon > Email.
  2. From an Inbox, tap the Menu icon Vertical menu icon (located in the upper-right).
  3. Tap Settings.
  4. If applicable, select the desired email account on the left.
  5. Tap More settings.
  6. Tap Exchange server settings.
  7. Edit any of the following then tap Done (located in the upper-right):
    Note The available settings may vary depending upon the email account type.
    • Domain\Username
    • Password
    • Exchange server
    • Use secure connections (SSL)
      Note Enabled when a check mark is present.
    • Use client certificate
      Note Enabled when a check mark is present.
  8. Tap Outgoing settings (if available).
  9. Edit any of the following then tap Done (located in the lower right):
    Note The available settings may vary depending upon the email account type.
    • SMTP server
    • Security type
      Note If applicable, tap the Dropdown menu dropdown menu icon to select security type.
    • Port
    • Requires sign-in
      Note Enabled when a check mark is present.
      Note If applicable, ensure the appropriate Username and Password are entered.
    • Username
    • Password
