Manage Auto Reply - Verizon Messages - Apple® iPad®

Note Ensure your apps are up to date as the following steps apply to the most recent version.

  1. From the Home screen, tap the Verizon Messages app (Message+) Verizon Messages Icon.
    Note To locate the app it may be necessary to slide finger left or right on the Home screen.
  2. Tap the Settings icon Settings Icon (located in the lower right).
  3. Tap Auto Reply.
    Tap Auto Reply
  4. Tap the Auto Reply switch.
    Note To disable, tap the Auto Reply switch to turn off Turn Off  Icon.
    Note To enable Auto Reply:
    1. Tap a reply message.
      Note To add/change a message:
      • Add a Message:
        1. Tap Add new message.
        2. Enter a new message then tap Save.
      • Edit Message:
        1. Tap Edit next to the message to be changed.
        2. Enter the new message then tap Save.
    Tap the Auto Reply Switch
  5. Tap the Auto Reply switch to turn it on Turn On  Icon.
    Tap the Auto Reply Switch
  6. Change the Until date then tap the back arrow.
    Tap the Back Arrow
