Verizon Cloud - Apple® iPad® - Install and Configure

Note Notes:

  • An Apple ID must be created to use the App Store. For assistance, refer to Create Apple ID.
  • If you forgot your Apple ID password, click here.
  • Contacts are automatically restored to the device during the installation and configuration process.
  • If you have a prepaid number, you can only sync contacts.


  1. From the Home screen, tap the App Store.
  2. Tap the Search tab Search (lower-right).
  3. From the search field, enter verizon cloud then tap Search.
  4. Tap Verizon Cloud then tap GET.
  5. If prompted, tap Install.
  6. If prompted, tap Use Existing Apple ID.
  7. Enter the Apple ID and password then tap Sign In.
    Note The Apple ID is the email address associated with the account.
  8. Once the download is complete, tap OPEN.
    Note If necessary, tap Verizon Cloud from the Home Screen.
  9. If prompted with 'Verizon Cloud Would like to Send You Notifications', tap the desired option:
    • Don't Allow
    • Allow
  10. From the 'Sign in' screen, enter the 10-digit mobile number and My Verizon password then tap Sign In.
    Note If prompted, enter the answer to the security question then tap Continue.
  11. Grant Verizon Cloud access to the following items by tapping OK.
    Note Access is required for successful backup. Refer to Apple article: # HT203033 - About privacy and Location Services in iOS 8 and later.

    • Photos
  12. Grant Verizon Cloud access to Location services by tapping Allow.
  13. Tap the following to turn on Switch on or off Switch off then tap Continue:
    Note These options can be changed anytime by managing settings.
