Adjust Display Settings - The all new HTC One® (M8)

  1. From a Home screen, navigate: Apps Apps icon > Settings > Display & gestures.
    Note If Settings unavailable, tap the Dropdown menu Applications dropdown menu icon then tap Alphabetical. If still unavailable, refer to Manage App Icons.
  2. Tap Screen timeout then select an option (e.g., Auto Sleep, 1 hour, etc.).
  3. Tap Daydream then tap the Daydream switch (located in upper_right) to turn on On switch icon or off Off switch icon.
    Note When enabled, configure the Daydream settings as preferred.
  4. Tap Media gesture to enable or disable.
    Note Enabled when a checkmark is present.
    Note Enabling this feature allows apps to recognize three-finger output gestures.
  5. Tap Motion Launch gestures.
    Note Enabled when a checkmark is present.
    Note Enabling this feature allows Motion Launch gestures to wake screen.
  6. Tap G-Sensor calibration and tap Calibrate then tap OK.
    Note When calibrating, ensure that the device is placed flat on a level surface.
