General Information

  1. What's The MORE Everything Plan, and what do I get with it?

The MORE Everything Plan is no longer available for new customers. If you already have The MORE Everything Plan, you can keep it, add new devices, upgrade devices and change data allowances.

We encourage you to consider switching to unlimited. Get unlimited data , talk and text and more on the network you want with Go Unlimited, Beyond Unlimited or Above Unlimited. Learn more about unlimited.

With MORE Everything, your account gets:

    • Unlimited domestic calling while in the US
    • Unlimited domestic and international messaging while in the US
    • Shareable data for up to 10 devices on your account
    • Mobile Hotspot
  2. Can I add or upgrade a device on the MORE Everything Plan?

Yes, you can purchase a new device or upgrade an existing one online or in the My Verizon app using device payments.

Monthly device payments provide you the flexibility to get the most current devices by making monthly payments over time rather than paying for it all up front. You'll make a monthly payment until your device is paid off.

The program requires you to enter a device installment agreement to pay for the device in monthly payments over 24 months.

    • There's a one-time $30 activation fee when you activate a new line through the device payment program.

    • There's a $30 upgrade fee when you add a new device to an existing line through the device payment program.

    • The specific terms and payment amounts can be found in your first bill and your device payment installment agreement.

    • Your monthly device payments will be charged on your bill.

    • You can choose to pay the installments over the full period of the term or in a lump sum to pay off the total price at any time.
  3. How am I charged for The MORE Everything Plan?

You'll have two types of charges for The MORE Everything Plan:

For example, if you have 5 devices on your account, you'll be charged a separate device access charge for each device, equaling 5 charges. Plus, you should see one charge for your data plan.

Note: If your data allowance is exceeded, you'll also see an overage charge for that.

If you're concerned about data overages, learn more about using Safety Mode on the new Verizon Plan or consider switching to unlimited. Go Unlimited. Beyond Unlimited and Above Unlimited provide unlimited data , talk and text and more. Learn more about unlimited.

  4. Can I have a basic phone on The MORE Everything Plan? If so, what are the charges for a basic phone on The MORE Everything Plan?

Yes, you can add basic phones to The MORE Everything Plan if you're already on this plan. Basic phones on The MORE Everything Plan get:

    • 700 calling minutes and unlimited messaging for $30/month
    • Pay as you go data for $5/month plus $1.99/MB
    • Calling overage rate of $0.45/minute
  5. What is backdating and how can I use that with The MORE Everything Plan?

Backdating allows you to change your plan in the middle of your bill cycle and receive one charge for the new plan instead of separate charges on one bill for each plan - the old and new one.

    • If you want to increase your data allowance, you can backdate it to the first day of your bill cycle. Your bill will be calculated as if you were on the new plan for the entire bill cycle. There are no fees for changing your plan or backdating it.

    • If you wish to decrease your data allowance, you can't backdate your bill and it will be prorated. You can still change your data allowance in the middle of your bill cycle, but you'll see two monthly access charges. You'll be charged a discounted rate for both your previous and new plan based on when you switched your plan. You also won't receive the full amount of data for the plan you switch to. Refer to our View Bill / Online Statement FAQs for more information about partial charges.

Note: There are no fees for changing your plan and doing so won't change your contract agreement period.
  6. Can I switch to a different plan and switch back to The MORE Everything Plan?

No, if you decide to switch to a different plan, you can do so without a fee and without extending your contract term. However, you won't be able to switch back to The MORE Everything Plan. If you simply want to change your data allowance, you can do that.

  6. How does using Wi-Fi impact my data usage?

If you connect your device to the internet through a Wi-Fi connection, the data transmitted doesn't consume data from your monthly data allowance. Most smartphones and tablets can be configured to search for open Wi-Fi hotspots and, depending on your settings, automatically connect.

Note: Wi-Fi hotspots generally don't include over-the-air encryption to protect your data from observation from other users. As such, we recommend that you always use a firewall on your computer and have current anti-virus software to protect your computer from possible infection or attack. Using Wi-Fi can also deplete your battery faster than using a Verizon Wireless network connection.
