General Information

  1. What is My Numbers?

    My Numbers is an app-based service that allows you to subscribe to up to 4 virtual phone numbers for use as additional phone numbers on your existing smartphone. You can make and receive calls and texts from any of these virtual phone numbers all on one device.

  2. How much does My Numbers cost?

    The My Numbers app is free to download and each subscription to a phone number costs $15 per month. You can subscribe to a maximum of 4 phone numbers with My Numbers. Data charges will apply when downloading and using the My Number service when connected to a cellular network and according to your device's data plan.My Numbers include unlimited calling, texting and voicemails.

    Voice minutes and text messages do not count against your smartphone voice and text plan.

  3. Can I choose the phone numbers I want?

    Yes, but the selection is limited to the U.S. numbers and area codes that are available at that time.

  4. Can I use My Numbers to call internationally?

    No, you cannot use your My Numbers phone number to make outbound international calls. The service supports outbound calls to U.S. destinations only, excluding Puerto Rico and the U.S. Virgin Islands, and inbound calls from domestic and international destinations. Your international calling plan for your main device mobile number will not work with My Numbers service.

  5. Can My Numbers be used with any device or account?

    My Numbers is compatible with 4G iOS® and Android® smartphones.

    You must be subscribed to a Verizon Wireless postpay consumer account to sign up for My Numbers. At this time, Verizon Wireless prepaid customers, business customers and government accounts (federal, state and local) are not eligible to sign up for My Numbers.

  6. How do I subscribe to My Numbers?

    You can download the My Numbers app at the Google Play and Apple App Store.

    Once the app is installed, follow the instructions to select a number. Your subscription will be billed to your Verizon account on a monthly recurring basis until you cancel the service. You can cancel any or all of your subscriptions via the app at any time.

  7. How do I cancel my subscription to one or all of my phone numbers?

    You may cancel one or more of your subscriptions at any time by selecting the phone number(s) you want to cancel under "Manage Subscriptions". If you cancel a subscription before the end of your current subscription cycle, you will be able to use the phone number until the end of the subscription cycle, but you will not receive a credit or refund for any remaining days in such cycle.

  8. Can I use My Numbers when I am traveling internationally?

    When you travel to another country, you will need an international data roaming plan or Wi-Fi connection to use My Numbers. The same limitations apply when you access My Numbers within or outside the United States. 

  9. Will my Verizon Wireless plan features be available to the phone numbers I subscribe to in My Numbers?

    No. Call Forwarding, Caller Name ID, No Answer Transfer, Smart Family usage controls, and other Verizon network-based features are not supported by My Numbers. Blocked contacts you may have set on your mobile device will not be blocked in the My Numbers service.

  10. Is voicemail available on the My Numbers lines?

    Yes, you will be able to receive voicemail as an audio file delivered to the app.

  11. What if I want to transfer (or port) any of the My Numbers phone numbers to another carrier?

    You may be able to transfer or "port" your phone number to another carrier. Because of the nature of the My Numbers service, porting times may take longer than usual. Verizon will treat all porting requests from your new service provider as though you asked us to cancel your service for that number, even if you have not independently notified us of the porting request. We will terminate service only after we receive notification from our local exchange carrier that the porting is complete. After the porting is completed, you won't be able to use the My Numbers service for that number, but you'll remain responsible for all fees and charges through the end of that subscription cycle.

  12. Can I transfer (or port) a phone number into My Numbers?

    Existing phone numbers cannot be ported in to My Numbers

  13. Can I share My Numbers with another account member?

    Yes, you may download the app on up to 5 smartphones and activate any one of your My Numbers subscriptions on those devices .
