Paper-free Billing FAQs

This page explains our paper-free billing option, how to sign up for it, and how to view and print your online bill.

General Information

  1. What is paper-free billing?

Paper-free billing allows you to stop receiving a paper bill in the mail. Instead, you'll still be able to view, download and print your monthly bill online in My Verizon.

Your online bill includes more information than your paper bill. Online you'll be able to see:

    • A summary of the charges for your account
    • A summary of charges for each line
    • The calling, messaging and data usage details for each line

Your paper bill will only include a summary of your charges. It won't include the usage details for each line on your account.

  2. How do I sign up for paper-free billing?

Sign up for paper-free billing in just a few steps:

With eligible plans, you can receive a $5 discount each month for being signed up with both Auto Pay and paper-free billing. To be eligible for the discount you must sign up for Auto Pay with a debit card or a bank account. Credit cards are not eligible for the Auto Pay discount.

Please note, you'll be automatically enrolled in paper-free billing when you sign up for Auto Pay. However signing up for paper-free billing will not automatically enroll you in Auto Pay.
