To simplify your billing experience, this video overview will guide you through the various sections found on your paper bill.
Starting on the first page you will find a Quick Bill Summary. This section captures all of your account and line charges, including:
Monthly Charges which are the account and individual charges for that month including any discounts.
Equipment Charges capture any equipment purchased.
Usage and Purchase Charges is where you can find an overview of any overage charges or purchases such as ringtones, games or songs.
Proceeding onto the second page you will see the Payments and the Account Charges and Credits section that includes: your payments, charges and any account overages. Please keep in mind, you may see prorated or partial month charges if you have made any changes to your account during the previous billing period.
The third page gives you an Overview of Lines on your account, which includes information about your plan; including, a Breakdown of Charges for each line of service, and a Breakdown of Shared Usage that may include voice, messaging, and data.
Moving forward on your bill you'll find an easy to read summary of charges. Each line of service on your account has its own separate summary section. If you activated your plan or your plan changed between billing cycles, this area will include a prorated charge.
If you have monthly device payments, those will also be listed in the Equipment Charges section. You will find the following information:
The monthly installment charge
Number of payments
Device payment agreement number
and any remaining balance
The Usage and Purchases section contains details for voice, messaging and data charges, taxes, and Verizon Wireless surcharges.
In addition, highlighted in this section you will find any purchases made for games, subscriptions, ringback tones and more!
