Verizon Ellipsis® 7 Software Update

Verizon Wireless is pleased to announce a software update for your device. This software update has been tested to optimize device performance, resolve known issues, and apply the latest security patches.

Before you download:

  • Connect your device to a Wi-Fi network, or make sure it has a strong Verizon Wireless network connection.
  • Ensure your battery is fully charged before starting the software update.

System Update

It's important to install the latest software to enable your Ellipsis 7 tablet to continue to function properly.

Ellipsis 7 Tablet (QMV7A):

  • Software Version: MV7A_41D37_442A
  • Baseband version: ALT3100_04_05_06_00_94_TF

Ellipsis 7 XLTE Tablet (QMV7B):

  • Software Version: MV7B_41D37_422
  • Baseband version: V2.29.000z1 (ALT3100_04_05_06_12_B5_TF)

Verizon Ellipsis 7 Tablet Update Guide

  1. Connect your Ellipsis 7 to Wi-Fi.
  2. Search for "Ellipsis Help" app in the Google Play Store and select "Help - Verizon Ellipsis 7".

  1. Tap Update to install, then tap CONTINUE or ACCEPT.
    1. If the Update option isn’t available, go to step 5.

  1. Follow the instructions on the pop-up notification and restart your device by tapping Power cycle now, or wait 3 minutes for your device to restart automatically.

  1. Verify your device update by checking the Baseband version.

    Go to Settings > About Tablet. Both versions are fine.

    • ALT3100_04_05_06_12_B5_TF
