Verizon Wireless is pleased to announce a software update for your device.

This software update has been tested to help optimize device performance, resolve known issues and apply the latest security patches.

What's changing:

This software update for your 5G MiFi M1000 provides the following system enhancements and performance improvements:

  • Security Enhancements
    • Provides the most up to date security patches
  • User interface/User experience
    • Displays sign-of-life indicator when the device is powering ON
    • Addressed an issue where the LCD display would go dead while the device was still functioning
    • Addressed an issue where some menu options on the Admin site were missing
  • SMS
    • Addressed an issue where incoming SMS showed an incorrect date
    • Addressed an issue where the SMS sender's phone number did not display in the SMS received
  • Wi-Fi
    • Addressed an intermittent no internet connectivity issue on Wi-Fi connected devices
  • Other
    • Addressed an issue where software updates were not pushed to some devices

  • Disconnect: Fixes an issue that sometimes caused the M1000 to disconnect from some iPhone® models.
