How to view usage on your bill

Summary and details about your data, voice and messaging usage

    View your account's total usage

    You can view your account's total usage through the My Verizon app or through a web browser. You'll also be able to see an overview of how much data was used by each line.

    The My Verizon app

    1. Open the My Verizon app.
    2. Tap the Menu icon in the top left and tap Data Hub.
    3. Tap History.
    4. Select the bill period you want to view usage for.

    You'll see the total data used and an overview of how much data was used by each line.

    The My Verizon website

    1. Go to the View Bill page.
    2. Tap or click View Activity Usage to view your data, voice and messaging usage.

      Note: Unlimited plans don't show data usage.

    You'll see separate sections for total Data, Talk and Text usage, with details on how much your entire account used during the bill cycle. You'll also see an overview of usage for each line.

    View a detailed usage log for each line

    The detailed usage log will show you how much data, minutes or messages were used and when. You can view usage for your current bill cycle and also for past bill cycles:

    View current bill cycle usage

    1. Go to the My Usage page in My Verizon.
    2. Select a line at the top of the screen to view usage for that specific line.
    3. Tap or click one of the links on the page to view more details about each usage type:
      • View data details
      • View minute details
      • View message details

    You'll see the usage details for the current bill cycle for the line you selected.

    View past bill cycle usage

    1. Go to the View bill page in My Verizon.
    2. Tap or click the View activity usage link at the top of the page.
    3. Tap or click View next to the line you want to view usage for.

    You'll see the line's data usage details for your most recent bill. You can also view the minute and message usage for the line using the Select an activity dropdown.

    Note: If you want to see usage history for a different bill cycle, tap or click on the Date dropdown in the top right corner of the page, and select the bill cycle you want.
