Wireless Phone Protection FAQs

Wireless Phone Protection gives you:

• Coverage for loss, theft and damage (including water damage)
• As soon as next-day device replacement
• Unlimited cracked screen repair for select smartphones, fixed fast with a $0 deductible for each approved cracked screen repair claim
• For Florida customers only: Coverage for post-warranty malfunctions (claim limit and deductible applies)

*Select smartphones that only have a cracked front screen are eligible; damage beyond that is not eligible for cracked screen repair. Damage to smartphone's back glass or other damaged components beyond front glass results in ineligibility. Subject to parts availability, in select locations, which are subject to change at any time. Availability of same-day repair depends on criteria such as claim approval time and technician availability. Repairs are performed by an Asurion-certified technician and come with a 12-month warranty. Check current device eligibility. Eligibility for cracked screen repair will be determined at time of claim approval.

To be eligible for Wireless Phone Protection, you must enroll within 30 days of one of the following:

• Purchase or upgrade to a new device and activate it on a new or existing line
• Bring your own eligible device* that meets the following criteria:
  • Is fully functioning, without damage (including cracked screens) and free of defects
  • Isn't lost or stolen
  • Is activated on a new line (not an existing line)

You can check your eligibility in My Verizon. If Device Protection is listed under the Get Products tab, you're eligible to enroll.

If you're bringing your own device, you can check device compatibility before signing up for a new line of service.

Note: Prepaid accounts aren't eligible for Wireless Phone Protection at this time.

*BYOD may be eligible for device protection. Eligibility determined at the point of sale.

For Nationwide customers, Wireless Phone Protection costs:

• $4.25 or $7.25 per month depending on device type. For the specific monthly charge, you can visit the Services & Perks page in My Verizon. For deductible and device type information, go to phoneclaim/com/Verizon

For New York customers, Wireless Phone Protection costs:

• $4.25, $5.40 or $7.25 per month depending on device type. For the specific monthly charge, you can visit the Services & Perks page in My Verizon. For deductible and device type information, go to phoneclaim/com/Verizon

With Wireless Phone Protection, if you file a claim, you'll need to pay a deductible.

If your device or account is eligible, you can sign up for Wireless Phone Protection on the Services & Perks page in My Verizon.

• My Verizon website: Click See all eligible services & perks. Scroll to the Wireless Phone Protection section and click Get it now. Follow the prompts to add Wireless Phone Protection.
• My Verizon app: Scroll to the Device Protection section and tap Learn More. Tap Enroll for the lines you want covered. Select Wireless Phone Protection, and follow the prompts.

You can file up to 3 claims in a 12-month period (excluding cracked-screen repair claims) with a device replacement maximum of $400 or $3,000 depending on device.

You can view the Device Protection Terms & Conditions online.

All device protection options continue to renew each month until canceled, and are billed directly to your wireless account. You can cancel your device protection option at any time and receive a prorated refund of your monthly charge.

You can remove Wireless Phone Protection from your line at any time from the Services & Perks page in My Verizon. Upon canceling, you'll receive a prorated refund of your monthly charge.

DO NOT remove Wireless Phone Protection if you want to switch to another device protection option. If you do, you'll lose your device protection eligibility. Instead, go to the Services & Perks page in My Verizon and enroll in the device protection option you want. You'll be prompted to remove Wireless Phone Protection during the enrollment process.

Note: If you cancel Wireless Phone Protection, your current device won't be eligible for any other device protection option unless it meets the eligibility requirements.
