How Do I Block Calls & Messages?
Are you tired of annoying sales calls or wrong numbers? Do you need to block calls and messages to any of the lines on your account? Verizon Wireless gives you the ability block up to 5 phone numbers with no fees. Simply go to vzw.com/blockcalls and Sign in to your My Verizon account, or you can select "Block Calls & Messages" from the Account Overview page within My Verizon.
Select the line you wish to manage, and then simply enter the phone numbers you wish to block below. The numbers you enter will be unable to contact you by text messaging, video messaging, picture messaging or calling for 90 days.

If you'd like your entries to apply to all eligible lines on your account, Click the check box below. When you're finished, click "Submit" for the changes to take effect.
It's just as easy to remove a blocked number- just delete the number and click submit. You can also block services like picture and video messaging, or block the ability to make certain purchases from your devices. Click on "Block & Unblock Services" in the box on the right to get started.
To report unwanted spam sent to your phone. Click on "Report Suspected Spam Text Messages" at the bottom of the page. And, you can safeguard yourself from future spam by ensuring your number is registered on the US Government National Do Not Call list.
