  1. What is the Get 15 GB for $45 prepaid promo and who is eligible?

    Any new or existing prepaid line* that signs up for the $50 Monthly - 8 GB prepaid plan between 1/24/19 and 4/30/19 will receive 7 GB of bonus data each month. Plus, when you sign up for Auto Pay, you can save an additional $5/month per line. That gives you 15 GB for just $45/month. TT

    The following prepaid device types are eligible for this promo:

    • Smartphones
    • Tablets
    • JetpackĀ® devices

    *Lines currently on an unlimited prepaid plan aren't eligible for this promotion.

  2. I didn't change my prepaid plan. Why do I have more data this month? Am I paying more?

    If you signed up for the $50 Monthly - 8 GB prepaid plan after 11/6/18, you may be getting 15 GB/month instead of 8 GB/month for no additional charge as part of the Get 15 GB for $45 prepaid promo. TT

    If you're eligible, we automatically applied the 7 GB of bonus data to your account when the promotion started. You'll see the bonus data included with your monthly plan data in the Data hub in My Verizon.

    If you aren't sure what plan you have, you can see your current plan in the My Verizon app on your smartphone:

    1. Open the My Verizon app, and tap the Menu icon in the top left corner of the screen.
    2. Tap Account.
      Note: If you have more than one line on your account, select the line you want to view the plan for.
    3. Tap My plan.

    You'll see your current plan, and you'll also be told if your plan includes 7 GB of bonus data.

    Note: If you don't have the $50 Monthly - 8 GB plan with 7 GB of bonus data, and you have more data than you expected, you may:

    • Have purchased additional data through My Verizon. You can view your recent purchases in the My Verizon app by tapping Menu, tapping Account, and then tapping Purchases.
    • Have Carryover Data from your last month if you're on an older plan.
  3. How do I get 15 GB for $45 per month on a prepaid account?

    To get 15 GBs for $45/month on a prepaid account:

    1. Sign up for the $50 Monthly - 8 GB prepaid plan between 1/24/19 and 4/30/19 to get 7 GB of bonus data each month. TT
      • If you're new to Verizon, you can sign up for a new prepaid account online and select the $50 Monthly plan.
      • If you already have a prepaid account, you can add a line or change your plan on an existing line to the $50 Monthly plan in My Verizon.

        Note: You must be the Account Owner to change plans on a Prepaid Family Account. If you're changing the plan on an Account Member line, the monthly cost would be $35/month with the Prepaid Family Account discount.
    2. Set up Auto Pay on your account to receive a $5/month discount on each eligible line.

    You'll now receive 15 GB for $45/month on your prepaid line (or $30/month on an Account Member line on your Prepaid Family Account). TT

  4. Can more than one line on my Prepaid Family Account participate in the Get 15 GB for $45 prepaid promo?

    Yes, all lines on your Prepaid Family Account that meet the eligibility requirements can participate in the Get 15 GB for $45 prepaid promo. TT

  5. I recently signed up for the $50 Monthly plan. Am I eligible for the Get 15 GB for $45 prepaid promo?

    If you signed up for the $50 Monthly - 8 GB prepaid plan:

    • After 11/6/18 - You'll receive the additional 7 GB of data. We'll automatically apply the bonus data to your account for you. You don't need to make any changes.
    • Before 11/6/18 - You can change to the new $50 Monthly - 8 GB plan to take advantage of this promo.
  6. Can my 7 GB of bonus data from the Get 15 GB for $45 prepaid promo carry over to the next month if I don't use it?

    No, the $50 Monthly - 8 GB prepaid plan doesn't have Carryover Data, and the 7 GB of bonus data won't carry over to the next month if you don't use it.

  7. Is Always-On Data compatible with the Get 15 GB for $45 prepaid promo?

    Yes, if you use all your high speed data on the $50 Monthly prepaid plan (including the additional 7 GB of bonus data), you'll still be able to use data at 2G speeds with no overage charges

  8. I'm participating in the Get 15 GB for $45 prepaid promo. Where can I see my 7 GB of bonus data in My Verizon?

    You can see your 7 GB of bonus data in the Data hub of the My Verizon app. It will be included in your monthly plan data amount (i.e., where it used to say 8 GB, it will now say 15 GB).

    To get to the Data hub in the My Verizon app:

    1. Tap the Menu icon in the top left corner of the screen.
    2. Tap Data Hub.
  9. Will I keep getting my 7 GB of bonus data from the Get 15 GB for $45 prepaid promo if I switch to a different plan?

    No, you must remain on the $50 Monthly - 8 GB prepaid plan and your account must remain active to continue receiving the bonus data from this promotion.

  10. If I cancel Auto Pay, will I keep getting my 7 GB of bonus data from the Get 15 GB for $45 prepaid promo?

    Yes, you'll continue to receive your 7 GB of bonus data each month, as long as you remain on the $50 Monthly - 8 GB prepaid plan and your account is active.

    However, you'll no longer receive the $5/month Auto Pay discount, so your plan cost will go back to its original amount of $50/month.
