Picture-in-picture, but with YouTube™ and apps
Android Oreo picture-in-picture (PIP) mode lets you watch YouTube videos and use an app at the same time. The video displays in a small window that you can drag to any part of the screen.
Tap the Home button to enter PIP mode while a YouTube video is playing. You can access the Home screen and use other apps while the video plays in a smaller window.
More informative notifications
Notifications have a new, easier to read design that emphasizes what's most important.
The dots on your Home screen app icons are Notification dots. You'll see them when the app has a notification. Touch and hold an app icon to see the details pop-up right on your Home screen. No need to go into the app.

Software Upgrade Assistant Tool
If you don't have a strong connection to Wi-Fi or the Verizon Wireless network, you may not be able to perform a software update over the air. Instead, you can connect your device to a computer with Internet access with a USB cable, then download the Software Upgrade Assistant tool to your computer, which will check for software updates and initiate the software update process.
Please allow additional time for the apps on your device to continue to download after the software update.
