Factory Data Reset (Powered Off) - Casio® G'zOne Commando™ (C771)

A factory data reset may help with a blank or frozen screen, apps crashing or freezing, keypad/touchscreen problems, can't hear, device making noises, can't make or receive calls, and device won't sync.

Caution Perform a factory data reset only if absolutely necessary as it removes all data including:

  • Google account
  • System and app data
  • App settings
  • Downloaded apps
  • Media (Music, pictures and videos, etc.)

Note An alternate reset method is available if the device can be powered on and is responsive.

  1. Ensure the device is powered off.
Note If screen is frozen, remove the battery.
  2. Press and hold the Power button (lower-left edge) until the G'zOne logo appears then release.
  3. With the LED illuminated red, press and hold the Power button + Volume down button (upper-left edge) + Camera button (lower-right edge) simultaneously then release.
Note The LED illuminates approximately 20-30 seconds after releasing the power button (step 2). The 3-key combination must be pressed within the 1-2 second timeframe that the LED is illuminated.
