Software Upgrade Assistant (Kyocera) - Enable / Disable Auto Updates

This helps you update the software on your Kyocera device using your computer/PC.

Note The Software Upgrade Assistant (SUA) can be configured to automatically prompt for software updates. The most recent software version becomes available on the SUA/SRA tool within a week of a new software update.

  1. Ensure the wireless device is powered on, unlocked (if device lock is enabled), and connected to a compatible computer using the supplied USB cable.
  2. Ensure the Software Upgrade Assistant software is installed. Refer to Initial Setup - Software Upgrade Assistant for assistance.
  3. From the taskbar (located in the lower-right), right-click the Software Upgrade Assistant tray icon Kyocera SUA icon (when the SUA does not launch automatically).
  4. Click Options then click one of the following to enable or disable.
    Note Enabled when a check mark is present.
    • Enable Auto Check for Upgrades
    • Disable Auto Check for Upgrades
