Uninstalling/Reinstalling VZAccess® Manager - Macintosh®

Installing VZAccess Manager requires Administrator privileges on a Mac® OSX notebook computer and may not function correctly if installed on an account without these privileges. Once installed via an Administrator, it can be used by any user.

  1. Ensure the wireless device is disconnected from the computer.
  2. Launch VZAccess Manager.
    Note From the Macintosh desktop, navigate: Finder > Applications > VZAccess Manager.
  3. From the Menu Bar, navigate: VZAccess Manager > Uninstall VZAccess Manager.

  4. Click Proceed.
    Note If presented with an Authenticate screen, enter the name/password then click OK.
    Note If prompted to type an administrator's name and password to make changes to Installer enter the information. If the credentials are not known, contact the system administrator.
  5. Click OK.
  6. Restart the computer.
    Note Refer to Restarting the Operating System for additional assistance.
  7. Reinstall VZAccess Manager via the appropriate method.
