Re-installing PC Card / USB Modem Drivers

Caution Ensure you have the original VZAccess Manager installation CD-ROM or that you have downloaded the most recent version of VZAccess Manager from the VZAccess Manager download website.

  1. Remove the PC Card or disconnect the USB modem from the computer.
    Refer to Removing and replacing PC Cards - Windows for additional assistance.
  2. From the Windows desktop, select Start > (Settings) > Control Panel.
  3. From under Programs, select Uninstall a program.
    In 2000 / XP, double-click Add or Remove Programs.
  4. Select the appropriate PC Card / USB modem drivers from the list then click Uninstall.
    In 2000 / XP, click Change/Remove.
  5. Follow the on-screen instructions to uninstall the drivers.
  6. Once the drivers have been removed successfully, locate and click VZAccess Manager then click Uninstall.
    In 2000 / XP, click Change/Remove.
  7. Follow the on-screen instructions to uninstall VZAccess Manager.
  8. Restart the computer.
