Configure Launch Preferences - VZAccess® Manager v7 (Macintosh®)


  • VZAccess Manager software must be installed before inserting/connecting the device to the computer for the first time.
  • Depending upon device and/or software version, some options may not be available.


  1. From the desktop, navigate: Finder > Applications > VZAccess Manager.
  2. From Menu Bar, click: VZAccess Manager > Preferences.
  3. Ensure desired options are selected (checked) then click Save.
    Note If no changes are made, click Close.
    • Browser Options:
      • Do not open browser:
        • The default browser won't open upon connection (default setting).
      • Open default web browser:
        • The default web browser opens upon connection.
      • Open my browser to the URL:
        • The default browser opens then navigate to the specified URL upon connection.
    • Application Options:
      • Run application on connection:
        • The specified application launches upon connection.
