Clear App Cache - Samsung Galaxy S® 6 / S® 6 edge

If your device runs slow, crashes or resets, or apps freeze when running them, clearing the cached data may help.

Clear Individual App Cache

  1. From a Home screen, navigate: Apps Apps icon > Settings Settings icon > Apps (Phone section).
  2. Tap Application manager.
  3. Locate then select the appropriate app.
    Note If system apps aren't visible, tap the Menu icon Menu icon (upper-right) > Show system apps.
  4. Tap Storage.
  5. Tap CLEAR CACHE.
    Note This option may not be available for some apps.

 

Clear All Cached Data

  1. From a Home screen, navigate: Apps Apps icon > Settings Settings icon > Storage (Phone section).
  2. Tap Cached data.
  3. Tap CLEAR to confirm.
