Create a Paired Connection - Windows®

  1. Open Bluetooth Devices.
    Note From the Windows 8 or 10 desktop, navigate: Right-click Start > Control Panel > In the Search box, enter "Bluetooth" then click "Add a Bluetooth device".
    Note From the Windows XP or Vista desktop, navigate: Start > (Settings) > Control Panel > (Network and Internet Connections) > Bluetooth Devices then click Add.
  2. Ensure the device to be paired is set up and visible to nearby devices.
    Note Refer to the instructions on enabling discovery mode for your device.

  3. When the device appears on the PC screen, ensure the desired device is selected then click Next.
    Note If you don't see your device, make sure it is turned on then click Search Again.
  4. Ensure passkeys match then click Next.
    Note If presented with "Let me choose my own passkey", enter a passkey then click Next (It's recommended to use a passkey that is 8-16 digits long).
  5. On the handset, follow the on-screen instructions to allow pairing.
  6. On the computer, click Finish.
  7. Click OK.
