A virtual private network (VPN) encrypts your internet traffic and protects your online identity via a secured remote server and is most commonly used when remotely accessing company systems (e.g., company email, intranet sites, etc.).
Contact the VPN administrator for assistance with server information and credentials.
From a home screen, tap Apps (located at the bottom).
From the Apps tab, tap Settings .
Tap Basic VPN.
If presented with a lock screen notification, tap OK.
Refer to Set Up Screen Lock (Pattern, PIN, or Password only) for assistance.
Tap Add Basic VPN network.
From the Name field, enter the appropriate name
Tap the Type field, then tap one of the following from the drop down menu.
IPSec Xauth PSK
IPSec Xauth RSA
IPSec Hybrid RSA
Enter the appropriate information into the applicable fields then tap Save (lower-right).
