Upgrade from 3G to 4G - Push to Talk Plus Contact Management Tool

Caution Ensure to export all 3G PPT contacts before processing an upgrade to 4G device. After the upgrade to 4G device, all 3G contacts are lost.

  1. Log into the Push to Talk admin page via MYBIZ or Verizon Enterprise Center website.
  2. Prior to upgrade, export the current 3G contacts.

  3. Create a new template.
  4. Process the 3G to 4G device upgrade.
  5. From manage templates, apply the template created in step 3 to the new upgraded line.
  6. Assign the upgraded line to all lines that should have it as contact.
