Samsung Galaxy Tab E (8.0) - View Device Screen on TV

  • To share media files, an active Wi-Fi connection must be established. Refer to the following for assistance:
  • To share your display with other devices (e.g., TV, etc.), they must be connected to the same Wi-Fi network and may need to be configured for sharing. Refer to the user manual or contact the equipment manufacturer for assistance.
  • A Miracast-enabled HDTV or a Wireless Display adapter may be required to view your smartphone's screen via an external display. A Wireless Display adapter can be purchased from any Verizon Wireless retail store or at the online store.
  • For assistance with setting up a Google® Chromecast™ device, refer to this page.
  • Some apps (e.g., YouTube™, Netflix®, etc.) support displaying the app contents on a remote display. Within the app, tap the Cast icon Cast icon then select the desired display from the list.

 

Note Follow these steps to view your entire screen contents on your TV.

  1. Swipe down on the Status bar (located at the top).
  2. Swipe down from the top of the screen to expand the quick settings menu.
  3. From the quick settings menu, tap Smart View.
  4. Tap the Smart View switch to turn on Switch on.
  5. Select the preferred display from the list.
