Samsung Galaxy View - Edit a User Account

  1. From a Home screen, navigate: Apps Apps icon > Settings > Users (Device section).
  2. Do one of the following:
  • To edit a full access user account:
    1. From the You section (located in the upper-right), tap the account name.
      • To edit a different account than the one listed, you must switch to the account:
        1. Select the appropriate user name from the Users and profiles section.
          Note The device logs out of the current user account and into the selected account.
        2. From a Home screen, navigate: Apps Apps icon > Settings > Users (Device section).
        3. From the You section (located in the upper-right), tap the account name.
    2. Edit the name.
      Note To add a profile image, tap the Camera icon then complete the remaining steps to take or select a picture.
    3. Tap OK.
  • To edit a restricted access user account:
    Note Restricted access accounts can only be edited by the Owner account (the first account used to access the device).
    1. Ensure that you are logged into the Owner account.
      Note If necessary, navigate: Apps Apps icon > Settings > Users (Device section) from the Home screen then select the Owner account.
    2. If necessary, navigate back to the Users screen then tap the Settings icon Settings icon located to the right of the account name.
    3. From the Application/content restrictions section, configure the restrictions as desired.
      Note Turn on Switch on to allow access to an app or turn off Switch off to restrict access.
