Turn HD Voice On / Off - 4G LTE Network Extender - Smartphone

Note Devices with HD Voice disabled can't connect to the 4G LTE Network Extender for HD Voice & Video calling functions. You must enable HD Voice from your phone to allow it to connect to the 4G LTE Network Extender.

Note Notes:

  • Ensure HD Voice is enabled under 4G LTE Network Extender coverage to enjoy HD Voice and Video Calling.
  • Ensure Wi-Fi Calling is disabled under 4G LTE Network Extender coverage.
  • HD Voice cannot be disabled on 4G Basic Phones.
  • The settings displayed vary slightly by device.
  • These instructions enable HD Voice & Video calling functions.

Android

  1. From a Home screen, navigate: Apps > Settings > Advanced Calling.
    Note If unavailable, navigate: Settings > Network & Internet > Advanced Calling.
    Note Network & Internet may be listed as Connections on some devices.
  2. Tap the Advanced Calling switch (upper-right) to turn on or off.
  3. When turned on, tap either of the following to enable or disable:
    Note Enabled when a check mark is present.
    • HD Voice
    • Video Calling

iPhone

  1. From the Home screen, navigate: Settings > Cellular.
  2. Ensure that Cellular Data is turned on.
  3. Tap Cellular Data Options.
  4. Tap Enable LTE.
  5. Select Voice & Data to enable or disable.
    Note Enabled when a check mark is present.
    Note When checked, voice calls between compatible devices is carried over the 4G LTE data network.

  1. Swipe the screen left to display the Apps list.
    Note Alternatively, tap All apps (located in the lower-right, may require scrolling).
  2. Tap Settings.
  3. Tap cellular+SIM.
  4. Tap SIM settings.
  5. Tap the Advanced Calling switch to turn on or off.
