Power Saver Settings - Samsung Galaxy J3 V / J3 (2016)

Note Notes:

  • When enabled, Power Saver mode disables or modifies taped settings upon reaching the specified battery power level.
  • Configuring the power saving mode helps conserve battery power.
  • Ultra power saving mode applies a simplified grayscale theme to the home screen and limits the number of usable apps.
  • The Recent apps Recent apps icon and Back buttons do not light up while in Ultra power saving mode.

 

  1. For Post-pay device:
    1. From a Home screen, navigate: Apps Apps icon > Settings Settings icon > Battery.
      Note These instructions apply to Standard mode only.
    2. Tap one of the following:
      • OFF
      • MID (Medium power saving mode)
      • MAX (Maxmimum power saving mode)
    3. If desired, from the selected mode's pop-up tap CUSTOMIZE (located at the top).
      Note Only MID and MAX power saving modes can be customized.
    4. Configure any of the following settings:
      • Decrease brightness
        Note Adjust using the slider.
      • Speed limiter
        Note tap the switch to turn on or off.
      • Background network usage
        Note Tap the switch to turn on or off.

 

  1. For Prepaid device:
    1. From a Home screen, navigate: Apps Apps icon > Settings Settings icon > Battery.
      Note These instructions apply to Standard mode only.
    2. Tap one of the following:

 

Power saving mode

Tap Start power saving then select an option (Immediately, At 5%..., etc.).

Ultra power saving mode

  1. Tap MORE (located in the upper-right).
  2. Tap Settings.
  3. Select any of the following to turn on Switch on icon or off Switch off icon.
    • Wi-Fi
    • Bluetooth
    • Airplane mode
    • Location
  4. Tap Mobile networks.
  5. Tap the Mobile data switch to turn on Switch on icon or off Switch off icon.
  6. Tap the Back arrow icon (located in the upper-left).
  7. Tap Sounds then adjust the volume settings.
  8. Tap Brightness then adjust using the slider.
