GizmoTab™ - Adjust Account Sync Settings

If you're not receiving email and app notifications, follow these steps to check your account sync settings.

Caution Frequent account synchronization can have a negative impact on battery life.

  1. From a Home screen, navigate: Apps icon Apps icon > Settings Settings icon > Accounts (Personal section).
  2. Tap the account type (e.g. Cloud, Email, Google, etc.).
  3. From the Accounts section, tap the appropriate email address.
    Note Multiple accounts may appear.
  4. Turn the sync settings on switch on or off switch off as preferred.
    linote The settings presented vary depending upon account type.
    Note To turn on master sync for all account types:
  5. Navigate: Apps icon > Settings > Accounts.
  6. Tap the Menu icon Menu icon (located in the upper-right).
  7. Tap (check) Auto-sync data.
  8. If prompted, tap OK.
