Turn HD Voice On / Off - Sonim XP5

Caution Caution:

  • HD Voice isn't recommended if you use a 1X/3G Network Extender or a TTY/TDD device.
  • HD Voice on the smartphone must be turned on if you use a 4G Network Extender.
  • If located in Alaska, it's not recommended to turn off HD Voice for troubleshooting purposes as it causes the device to roam off the Verizon Wireless network.

 

Note Notes:

  • HD Voice calling requires both parties to be in Verizon 4G LTE coverage area, have HD voice capable devices and be provisioned for HD Voice to do simultaneous voice and data.
  • HD Voice is included in existing voice plans and minutes are billed as regular voice calls.
  • Video calling is currently not available for this device.

  1. From the main screen, press the Apps button Apps button.
  2. Select Settings.
    Note Utilize the 5-way navigation pad to highlight and the center button to select.
  3. Select Advanced calling.
  4. Press the Center button on the 5-way navigation pad to enable or disable.
    Note Enabled when a check mark Check mark is present.
    Note If this option isn't available, HD Voice must be added through My Verizon or by contacting Customer Service.
