Restore Settings to Factory Defaults - SmartHub with Voice

Caution Caution:

  • A reset to factory default deletes all changes made to the configuration and connected clients (e.g., Network Name (SSID), Wi-Fi/Admin Password, Sensors, etc.) need to reconnect.
  • When you reset your device, make sure that you are not speaking on the phone. You are disconnected from your call when you reset your device.

Web Interface

 

External

  1. From the bottom the SmartHub, press the Door release button button then lift the door.

  2. Press and hold the Reset button for at least 7 seconds with the SmartHub powered on.
    Note If a backup was done prior to the reset, perform a restore if desired.

  3. Close the bottom panel.
    Note Press the door closed until it clicks into place.

Display

  1. From the SmartHub display, tap the Navigation bar to activate the screen.
    Note Use the arrows to cycle through screens and the Circle icon Circular select icon in the center to select.

  2. Press the Right arrow to naviate to the About SmartHub screen then select HELP & MORE.
  3. From SmartHub Help, press the right arrow three times to navigate then select RESET.

  4. From the 'Are you sure?' prompt, then select RESET to confirm.
    Note If the reset option is not available refer to the Admin Web Interface.
    Note If a backup was done prior to the reset, perform a restore if desired.

Web Interface

  1. Sign in to the Admin Web Interface.
  2. From the Smarthub Home screen, click System Settings.

  3. From the System settings screen, click Backup & Restore Backup and Restore icon.

  4. From Backup & Restore, click Reset then click Yes to confirm the reset.
    Note Click Allow Factory Reset from Display to turn on Switch on or off Switch off the ability to reset the device from the Display.

  5. From the 'Are you sure?' prompt click Yes to confirm.
    Note If a backup was done prior to the reset, perform a restore if desired.
