Edit Access Point Name (APN) - Arlo Go

To define and configure the APNs your camera can use, view this info.

Caution Changing advanced settings may be harmful to the stability, performance, and security of the camera. Contact your local IT administrator prior to altering any of these settings.

LTE Access Point Name (APN) Definitions

vzwims
Used for connections to IMS services. Required for TXT messaging.
vzwadmin
Used for administrative functions.
vzwinternet
Required for general Internet connections.
vzwapp
Required for PDA data service
vzwcf
Used for connections that must be routed through content filtering.
xx.vzwentp
Used for connections to mobile private networks.
Note 'xx' would be replaced by the enterprise MPN identifier.
xx.vzwstatic
Used for static IP connections.
Note 'xx' would be replaced by the appropriate static IP pool identifier.

 

  1. Launch the Arlo app on your smartphone or navigate and log in to the admin site via a browser.
    Note The website URL is: https://arlo.netgear.com/
    Note Supported browers are Internet Explorer 10 or later, Microsoft Edge, Firefox 3.5 or later, Safari 3 or later, Chrome (latest version).
    Note The Arlo app is available via the Google Play and Apple App stores.
  2. From the top menu, tap or click Settings (upper-right, to the right of Mode).
  3. Tap or click the appropriate camera.
    Note Multiple cameras may appear.
  4. From the Network section, tap or click APN Settings.
  5. Edit the APN as appropriate.
  6. Tap or click Save (upper-right).
