Samsung Galaxy Note9 - Adjust Display Settings

  1. From a Home screen, swipe up or down from the center of the display to access the apps screen.
    Note These instructions only apply to Standard mode and the default Home screen layout.
  2. Navigate: Settings Settings icon > Display.
  3. Tap the switch for any of the following to turn on Switch on or off Switch off:
    Note If necessary, tap each option to configure additional settings.
    • Blue light filter
    • Night mode
    • Accidental touch protection
    • Screen saver
  4. Tap Screen mode then select an option (e.g., Adaptive display, Basic, etc.).
  5. Tap the Back icon Back icon (lower-right) to return to the Display screen.
  6. Tap Screen resolution, select an option (HD+ 1480x720, FHD+ 2220x1080 or WQHD+ 2960x1440) then tap Apply.
  7. Tap Screen timeout then select an option (e.g., 15 seconds, 1 minute, 5 minutes, etc.).
  8. Tap Edge screen then configure any of the following:
    • Edge panels
      Note Tap the switch to turn on or off.
    • Edge lighting
      Note Tap the switch to turn on or off.
  9. Tap the Back icon to return to the Display screen.
  10. Tap Navigation bar then configure any of the following:
    • Hard press Home button
      Note Tap the switch to turn on or off.
    • Unlock with Home button
      Note Tap the switch to turn on or off.
    • Navigation type
    • Button order
  11. Tap the Back icon to return to the Display screen.
