The PIN Unblocking Key (PUK) is utilized to reset a blocked SIM card.

For Postpaid accounts, you must obtain the PUK via the My Verizon website before proceeding.

For Prepaid accounts, contact customer service to obtain the PUK before proceeding.

Ensure the device is powered on.

From the keypad, enter the 8-digit PUK then tap OK (lower-right).
If an invalid PUK is entered too many times, the SIM card is permanently disabled.

Enter a new SIM PIN code (4 to 8 digits) then tap OK.

Re-enter the new SIM PIN code then tap OK to confirm.
