moto z3 - Turn SIM PIN On / Off

Note Enabling the Subscriber Identity Module (SIM) Personal Identification Number (PIN) locks the SIM card so it can't be used until the correct code is entered. If the incorrect PIN code is entered too many times, refer to Locating the 4G SIM PIN/PUK - My Verizon Website to obtain a new PIN Unblocking Key (PUK).

  1. From a Home screen, swipe up to display all apps.
  2. Navigate: Settings Settings icon > Security & location Security and Location icon.
  3. Tap Advanced.
  4. Tap SIM card lock.
  5. Tap Lock SIM card to turn on Switch on or off Switch off.
  6. Enter the SIM PIN then tap OK.
    Note The default SIM PIN is 1111.
