Google Pixel 3 - Turn Wi-Fi Calling On / Off

Wi-Fi calling allows you to make calls or send and receive texts over a Wi-Fi network, which is helpful in areas of poor cellular coverage.

Note Wi-Fi Calling settings don't transfer after switching devices and/or performing a factory data reset.

  1. From a Home screen, touch and swipe up to display all apps.
  2. Navigate: Settings Settings app icon > Network & Internet Network and Internet icon > Mobile network Wi-Fi icon.
  3. Tap Advanced.
  4. Tap Wi-Fi calling.
  5. Tap the Wi-Fi Calling switch to turn on On icon.
  6. To continue, review the Terms and Conditions, tap the check box then tap CONTINUE.
  7. If presented, enter Emergency 911 Address then tap SAVE.
  8. Tap the Wi-Fi Calling switch to turn Wi-Fi calling on On icon or off Off icon.
    Note The Emergency 911 address is saved for when Wi-Fi calling is turned back on.
