Unblock SIM PIN - VZAccess® Manager (Windows®) - 4G

Note The PIN Unblocking Key (PUK) is utilized to reset a blocked SIM card.


  1. Launch VZAccess Manager.
    Note From the Windows desktop, navigate: Start > All Programs (Programs) > VZAccess Manager.
    Note With Windows 10, click Start > Apps icon Apps Menu icon (located in the top-left corner) > All apps (located in the bottom-left corner) > VZAccess Manager.
    Note If presented with Unblock SIM card window, skip to step 6.
  2. If presented, enter the PIN then click OK.
    Note The default PIN is 1111.
  3. Click Options > Preferences.
  4. From Device Settings, click Unblock SIM PIN.
  5. Enter the following information then click OK.
    PIN Unblocking Key (PUK)
    The 8-digit key obtained from step 1.
    New PIN
    A PIN code consisting of 4 to 8-digits.
    Confirm new PIN
    Retype desired PIN code.
    Note If an invalid PUK is entered too many times, the SIM card is permanently disabled.
  6. If presented, click OK.
