Here's how you can cancel your iPad's Prepaid Cellular Data Plan, from the iPad.
Steps apply to active prepaid subscribers only, standard service cannot be canceled with these steps.

Any remaining balance on the line is forfeited when canceling service.
From the Home screen, tap
Manage Verizon Account
If prompted, enter the email and password for your My Verizon account then tap
If the account password has been forgotten, refer to
Recover Cellular Data Account Password
Add Data or Change Plan
Under the "Plan Options" section, tap
Delete Account Now
To confirm, tap
It may take several minutes to update the account.
To finish the cancellation, the account must be reset. Refer to
Reset Cellular Data Account
