Apple® iPad® - Cancel Prepaid Cellular Data Plan

Here's how you can cancel your iPad's Prepaid Cellular Data Plan, from the iPad.

Note Notes:

  • Steps apply to active prepaid subscribers only, standard service cannot be canceled with these steps.
  • For more info on Prepiad service, see these FAQs.
  • Any remaining balance on the line is forfeited when canceling service.

  1. From the Home screen, tap Settings > Cellular Data > Manage Verizon Account.
  2. If prompted, enter the email and password for your My Verizon account then tap Next.
    If the account password has been forgotten, refer to Recover Cellular Data Account Password for assistance.
  3. Tap Add Data or Change Plan.
  4. Under the "Plan Options" section, tap Cancel Plan.
  5. Tap Delete Account Now.
  6. To confirm, tap Submit.
    It may take several minutes to update the account.
    To finish the cancellation, the account must be reset. Refer to Reset Cellular Data Account for assistance.
