Restore Settings to Factory Defaults - Verizon Jetpack® 4G LTE Mobile Hotspot MiFi® 4620L

If your Jetpack powers off on its own, crashes and resets, freezes, won't charge or runs slow, view this info.

Caution Restore Settings to Factory Defaults only if absolutely necessary as it:

  • Removes all modified settings including Network Name (SSID), Wi-Fi/Admin Password, etc.
  • Restores the default settings viewable on the external LED of the device.

  1. Ensure the device is powered on.
  2. Remove the battery cover.
    Note Utilizing the provided slot, carefully lift then detach the cover.

  3. Utilizing a paperclip (or similar tool), press and hold the reset button until MiFi® Resetting appears on the display, then release.
    Note Hold the button until the LED blinks one full blink and then a brief blink (5 seconds or less).
  4. Replace the battery cover.
    Note After restoring to factory defaults, ensure Power Management Settings are set to the preferred options.

Note Alternatively, a restore can also be done as follows:

  1. Access the Admin Web Interface.
  2. From the System tab, click System Status.
  3. From the System tab, click Reset to Factory Defaults.
  4. Click OK.
