Compose and Send Email Message - Samsung Galaxy Tab® 2 (10.1)

Note The Backup Assistant Plus Email (Sync and Connect) service was discontinued on 3/16/16.


  1. From a home screen, tap Apps Applications icon (upper-right).

  2. From the Apps tab, tap Email.

  3. Tap Compose Compose icon (located in the upper right).

  4. From the To field, enter a contact name or email address.
    Note As the recipient's name or email address is entered, a list of matching contacts may appear and can be selected at any time.

  5. From the Subject field, enter the subject.

  6. From the message body, enter the message.

  7. To add an attachment:
    1. Tap Attach Attach icon (located on the right).

    2. Select the attachment type then navigate to and select the desired file.

  8. To schedule delivery:
    1. Tap Scheduling options Email scheduling options icon (located on the left).

    2. Tap Schedule sending to enable or disable.
      Note Enabled when a check mark Check box icon is present.

    3. Select the current date.

    4. Adjust the date as desired then tap Set.

    5. Select the current time.

    6. Adjust the time as desired then tap Set.

    7. Tap Done.

  9. To set delivery priority:
    1. Tap Priority Email Priority icon (located toward to the left).

    2. Select one of the following:
      • High
      • Normal
      • Low

  10. Tap Send Email Send icon (located in the upper right).
