Samsung Galaxy S® 6 / S® 6 edge - Remove a Personal Email Account

Removing then re-adding your email often fixes login and not receiving email issues.

  1. From a Home screen, navigate: Apps Apps icon > Settings Settings icon > Accounts (Personal section).
    Note These instructions apply to Standard mode only.
  2. Select the appropriate account type (e.g., Email, Google, Microsoft Exchange).
  3. If mutliple accounts are listed, tap the appropriate email address.
  4. Tap the Menu icon Menu icon (upper-right).
  5. Tap Remove account.
  6. To confirm, tap REMOVE ACCOUNT.
