Turn Call Forwarding Off from the Device

If you're not receiving calls, callers are not getting through (e.g., fast busy signal, invalid number announcement, etc.) or they are getting an unknown party, this info may help.

Note Notes:

  • Depending upon location (e.g., when roaming) use of a * (star) code feature may not be available.
  • Call Forwarding is already turned off if HD Voice is turned on.
    Note HD Voice is available on select devices only.
  • If you're still not receiving calls after turning off Call Forwarding, check additional settings (e.g., Do Not Disturb, blocking, Quiet Mode, etc.) or apps (e.g., FamilyBase or downloaded apps) that can restrict incoming calls.


To turn off Call Forwarding (Immediate or Conditional), dial *73 then press Send.
Note If you don't have your device or *73 or *920 doesn't work, Call Forwarding can be turned off via My Verizon.
Note If *73 doesn't work you may try *920 to turn off all Call Forwarding.
