The Interruptions feature allows sound/vibration (for phone calls, messages, etc.) to be turned on or off as preferred.
Alarms are always considered priority interruptions.
From a Home screen, navigate:
Sound & notifications
When calls and notifications arrive
then select one of the following:
Allow only priority interruptions
When Allow only priority interruptions is selected, tap an option (e.g., Indefinitely, For 8 hours, etc.) then tap
From the Priority interruptions section, tap any of the following to enable or disable:
Enabled when a check mark is present.
Events and reminders
When Phone calls and/or Messages are enabled, tap
then select an option (e.g., Contacts only, etc.).
From the Downtime section,
select the preferred day(s), then tap
and adjust the start time then tap
and adjust the end time then tap
then select an option
