Kyocera DuraForce PRO with Sapphire Shield - Configure Broadcast Settings - Mobile / Wi-Fi Hotspot

If you are experiencing connectivity issues with your Mobile Hotspot or your device isn't found, check out the steps below.

Note Notes:

  • To avoid interference with other Wi-Fi networks, try using non-overlapping channels (i.e., 1, 6, or 11).
  • To configure settings, Mobile Hotspot must be turned on.


  1. From a Home screen, navigate: Apps Tap the Apps Icon > Settings Tap Settings > Mobile Hotspot.
  2. Tap Setup Mobile Hotspot.
  3. Tap the 'Broadcast channel' Dropdown menu Dropdown menu and select an option (e.g., Auto, 2, 4, etc.) then tap Save.
