Note Notes:

  • The Interruptions feature allows sound/vibration (for phone calls, messages, etc.) to be turned on or off as preferred.
  • Alarms are always considered priority interruptions.

Manage Priority Interruptions

  1. From a Home screen, navigate: Apps icon Apps icon > Settings Settings icon > Sound.
  2. Tap Do not disturb.
    Note To change the Do not disturb setting, follow these steps.
  3. Tap Priority only allows.
  4. Tap any of the following switches to turn on Switch on or off Switch off:
    • Reminders
    • Events
    • Repeat callers
  5. Tap either of the following then select an option (e.g., From anyone, From contacts only, etc):
    • Messages
    • Calls
  6. Tap the Back arrow (bottom-left) then tap Automatic rules.
  7. Tap any of the following then configure as desired (e.g., Rule name, Start time, etc.):
    • Weekend
    • Weeknight
    • Event
    • Add rule

Change Do Not Disturb Setting

  1. Swipe down from the top of a Home screen.

  2. To change to Do not disturb, tap Do not disturb on.
  3. Tap Settings then tap the Mode drop-down menu.
  4. Select an option(Total silence, Alarms only, Priority only) then tap Save.
