Home Screen Settings - Samsung Galaxy Note8

  1. From a Home screen, swipe up or down from the center of the display to access the apps screen.
    Note These instructions apply to Standard mode and the default Home screen layout only.
  2. Navigate: Settings Settings icon > Display > Home screen.
    Note If Settings isn't available, swipe up or down, touch and hold a blank area of the Home screen then tap Home screen settings.
  3. Tap any of the following:

 

Home screen layout

  1. Select one of the following:
    • Home and Apps screens
      Note All apps display on an Apps screen, which is separate from the Home screen.
      Note This is the default setting.
    • Home screen only
      Note All apps display on the Home screen.
  2. Tap APPLY (upper-right).
  3. To confirm, tap APPLY.

  1. Select the desired option (e.g., 4x5, 4x6, 5x5, 5x6) located at the bottom.
    Note When selected, a preview of the change displays above.
  2. Tap APPLY (upper-right).

  1. Select the desired option (e.g., 4x6, 5x6) located at the bottom.
    Note When selected, a preview of the change displays above.
  2. Tap APPLY (upper-right).

Apps button

  1. Select one of the following:
    Note When selected, a preview of the change displays below.
    • Show Apps button
      Note The Apps button displays in the lower-right of the Home screen.
    • Hide Apps button
      Note The Apps button is removed from the Home screen.
      Note This is the default setting.
  2. Tap APPLY (upper-right).

  1. Select the desired app(s).
    Note Selected when a check mark is present.
  2. Tap APPLY (upper-right).
