Turn Wi-Fi Calling On / Off - Samsung Galaxy Note8

Wi-Fi calling allows you to make calls or send and receive texts over a Wi-Fi network. This is helpful in areas of poor cellular coverage.

Note Ensure the device meets the following conditions:

  1. From a Home screen, swipe up or down from the center of the display to access the apps screen.
Note These instructions only apply to Standard mode and the default Home screen layout.
  2. Navigate: Settings Settings icon > Connections > Advanced Calling.
  3. Tap Wi-Fi Calling.
  4. Tap the Wi-Fi Calling switch (upper-right) to turn on Switch on or off Switch off.
Note If prompted, review the info then tap TURN OFF WI-FI CALLING to confirm.

Note Wi-Fi Calling settings don't transfer after switching devices and/or performing a factory data reset. You need to enable W-Fi Calling manually if you want to use it.
