5G Home Internet - My Verizon Website - Restart Router

5G Home Internet service is currently offered in specific areas; click here to check for 5G coverage availability.

Note Notes:

  • This process is only available to Account Owners/Managers.
  • Restarting the router does not reset the Wi-Fi SSID or password.


  1. Navigate: My Verizon > My Devices.
  2. Under Manage my router (located in the lower-left) click Restart router.

  3. From the prompt, click Restart.
    Line note Internet is temporarily disconnected for devices connected to the 5G router.

  4. Allow a few minutes for the router to reboot then tap Done.
