KYOCERA DuraForce PRO 2 - Reset App

If your device crashes, resets itself or freezes, it may be caused by apps and this info may help.

Note Personal data such as browser bookmarks and other customized app settings can be backed up to Google's servers.

Reset Individual App

Note This option resets app preferences and deletes all data for a single app.

  1. From a Home screen, navigate: Apps icon Apps icon > Settings Settings icon > Apps & notifications.
  2. Tap See all 'xx' apps.
  3. Locate then tap the app name (e.g., Cloud).
  4. Tap Force stop.
  5. Tap OK to confirm.
  6. Tap Storage.
  7. Tap CLEAR DATA.
    Note This option may not be available for some apps.
    Note Resetting an app or clearing data storage may delete saved info within the app (e.g., calendar events may be lost).
  8. Tap OK to confirm.

Reset All App Preferences

Note This option resets all preferences for the following and app data isn't affected:

  • Disabled apps
  • Disabled app notifications
  • Default applications for actions
  • Background data restrictions for apps
  • Any permission restrictions

 

  1. From a Home screen, swipe up from the center of the display to access the apps screen.
  2. Navigate: Settings Settings icon > System > Reset options.
  3. Tap Reset app preferences.
  4. Tap RESET APPS.
