Verify that the correct user is signed into the computer before syncing iTunes. If the incorrect user is signed in, quit iTunes before signing in as correct user and then re-open. Refer to Sign In / Sign Out - iTunes for assistance.
If syncing multiple devices, sign out of the iTunes store before connecting and syncing the next device. Refer to Sign In / Sign Out - iTunes for assistance.
Connect the iPad/iPhone to the computer using the USB cable.
By default, iTunes opens automatically.
Click the iPad/iPhone button in the upper-right.
For iTunes version 12 or higher, click the iPad/iPhone button in the upper-left.
Click the iTunes desired setting tab from the choices along the top:
